Common questions

Do I need an account?
No. You can start as a guest; everything stays on your phone. Create an account any time to back up your journal text.

Are my photos backed up?
Not yet. Photos are saved on your phone only. Photo backup is coming in a future update.

Why can't I edit an old moment?
Moments lock at midnight, so your journal stays an honest record. You can still add a comment to it later.

How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, your synced journal and your sign-in sessions; backup copies are removed within 30 days. You can also email hello@minoia.app from your account email and ask us to delete it.

I forgot my password.
Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a reset link.
